It's here... meet "The Landri"

Isn't she just fabulous!!

I'll add what she looked like before I refinished her.
She measures 53 7/8 x 34 tall x 20 deep. This buffet
is so much prettier in person.

Finally.... It's finished! It turned out GORGEOUS!

I am so sorry it took so long to get this finished and online. I never did get
the perfect lighting to show how gorgeous this buffet turned out. The next
couple of pieces I will be listing through this weekend are a little higher
than normal as I bought these through an antique dealer. It's much easier
to buy from them, than to drive all over trying to find pieces that are in
great shape with all the drawers in great condition. Maria, I will have the
chairs ready for you sometime today or tomorrow. Sue, I
will be looking for pieces I can whip out in less than an hour so the prices
are great and you can buy for your shop. I want to give you a heads up
what else I will be listing today. It is a beautiful funky buffet, this one is
so unique and beautiful I'm giving it a name. It will be called "The Landri"
I'll tell you why later on when I post it. I will be adding some budget
friendly pieces as well through the weekend. Here she is...

Goodness!!

I am so sorry it is taking so LONG to do this buffet. I really thought
this was going to be an easy paint job. I think the previous owner used
this as a vanity as it had red and blue fingernail polish all over one side.
I had to sand and sand to get that off. I also used three coats of primer
which normally I only have to use one coat. The main part of the vintage
handles do not come off, just the rings. I am having to paint around these
with 4 to 5 coats and have yet to get into the centers. I will then have to
go with a tiny brush to paint the hardware with the black I use for the hardware.
That will take about 5 coats as well. Then I will be able to distress, antique it
with glaze, and seal it. It will be done today, I PROMISE! I am including a
picture so you can see what I'm talking about.

It'll be a beauty when it's done!

Update and a few accessories

Hi Everyone!

I'm trying to get a buffet finished and online as soon as possible. To the 3 Ladies that are
waiting, I have good news. I have another buffet and a China cabinet that will be gorgeous
once they are cleaned upped, sanded down, primed, painted, and polished! The buffet I am working
on now took a LOT longer to sand than I expected. I also have a full size headboard, a
vintage telephone booth, two gorgeous pedestal end tables coming soon as well. I'm sorry
to say I will not be able to take any custom order's for at least two weeks. If there is something
you need done that is a gift or can't wait, please email me and I will do my best to fit your
piece in. I'm trying to get an email list put together for when I add new things. That make take
me awhile as I am terrible figuring those things out! It takes me forever to text. LOL, maybe
that's why I chose Interior Design as my field. However, I am loving painting and designing furniture.
I wish I would have done this a long time ago, sure beats carrying all those fabric samples!
Here's what I have finished now:

I took these pictures abour two hours ago and the sun was shinning right on it.
I will take better pictures around 7 pm when the sun is not so bright, and add them
to the blog.

I'm off to finish the buffet and also have an antique mirror to add as well.
